Just thought that I would mention for the benefit of the folks of the USA, that the United States Ambassador to Canada travelled to Newfoundland today to extend the very gracious appreciation of the President and people of the United States of America, to the people of Newfoundland for the assistance rendered to the diverted passengers following the September 11th attack.

The Ambassador was interviewed on the local evening news broadcasts in addition to a brief interview on the VOCM open line program this morning.
