Happy 2002 to all my fellow 929ers. The National Public Radio programme All Things Considered has just (literally in Chicagoland) broadcast a piece on the peopleof Newfoundland and their 6000 unexpected guests, including those who went to Gambo. One of our fellow passangers was among the interviewees. I must admit it brought back many strong and fond memories - enough to bring tears to my eyes thinking of how kind our friends in Gambo were to us all.
